Place a piece of wax paper over your artwork and press your artwork in place. ![]() Place your artwork over the glued area and position it where you want it. Completely cover the wood area to be glued. Use an old credit card to spread an ample amount of glue over the surface of the wood (it should be enough to spread over the surface but not so much that would cause a lot of oozing when the paper is adhered). ![]() The size of your artwork should be the same size or slightly larger than the wood surface you'll be gluing it to. If adding embellishments, add them after your piece has been glued to the wood. It should also be free of any embellishments like rhinestones, buttons or other added items. Make sure your artwork is completely dry and is set and ready to glue (your paper should be set with barrier coat of either a fixative spray or Jo Sonja's Fast Drying Glaze Medium). When gluing artwork, it is best to use an acid free /neutral ph glue.
